Pure Projects Melbourne was appointed by the VHBA as the Project Managers, and Superintendent for the urgent infrastructure upgrade works
The project involves the replacement and upgrade of the Electrical infrastructure from the new Authority sub-station to the MSB including new mains cabling and diversion of the existing sub-mains. The system is replaced with a new thermal plant consisting of new chillers and boilers and reticulation piping. The maternity ward had a complete replacement of the air handling plant.
The works to be undertaken are within an operational environment, with a specific emphasis on delivering the project works while maintaining day to day operations of the hospital with minimal disruption to patients, staff and visitors. With the integration of the hospital and to maintain operations the works will be undertaken over 4 stages, with further sub-stages and dependencies.
Pure Projects was selected for the project because of our extensive in-house engineering experience and Health Capabilities.
This experience coupled with Andrew Woodrow’s Building services back grounds has VHBA the confidence the project will be a success in a very challenging environment.
