Southern Star FIT is a new build food product manufacturing and processing facility for LBL Properties, a subsidiary of the D&L Group in the Philippines. This project covers 32 hectares and is located an hour south of Manila with the first phase having a built-up area of 16 hectares.

The facility consists of warehousing; administration areas and the largest structures the processing areas across three different business and product lines. This project commenced design in 4th quarter 2017 and Pure Projects was engaged in a full Project Management and Construction Management role. Challenges in the coordination of the frontend engineering and process designs have been overcome with intensive design management and project management coordination, with stringent process and targets the goal of the team. Programme challenges were being resolved through efficient procurement definition, fast track design solutions for various disciplines as well as prefabricated options.
