Our Vietnam office was responsible for the refurbishment of this iconic and culturally important heritage building located in the heart of Hanoi, Vietnam. The project consisted of 11,000 sqm of retail space (retail tenancies, customer services, mall management, commercial offices, VIP lungs and a foodcourt) spread across 6 floors.

The project was quite complex in that the existing tenants needed to be relocated from lower floors to the upper floors, base build services for the foodcourt were to be incorporated retrospectively and significant demolition and structural modification works were undertaken to deliver and upmarket and stylish shopping destination whilst still paying homage to the building’s heritage exterior façade.
